Frisco ADHD Management

“Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is the most common neurobehavioral disorder of childhood,” and its presence can affect many facets of a child’s growth and development. The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) strongly encourages the primary care practitioner to be able to assess and initiate management of children presenting with symptoms of ADHD. However, there are many pediatricians who do not feel comfortable doing so.

I have had several years of experience in evaluating and managing children with ADHD, and strive to work with the parents to come up with treatment plans that fit each individual child’s needs and circumstances. Let us help you manage ADHD for your child. Our Frisco office is easy to find. We are located at the Baylor Medical Center at Legacy and Warren Parkway.

In following AAP recommendations, I usually try to incorporate a multifaceted treatment approach, which may include behavior therapy, modifications or accommodations in the school environment, medication therapy, etc.

My goal in ADHD treatment is to help the child attain his/her full potential and to learn strategies for coping with ADHD in order to become successful, both in school and in life.
